Privacy Policy

linkbook (“we”) lets people publish a simple public page of links about themselves and their events at linkbook.xyz. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- From Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile photo. We request only the basic
openid, emailandprofilescopes. We never see your Google password and don’t access your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google data. - What you choose to publish: your handle, name, role, bio, links, social profiles, theme, and any contact details you add to your contact card. For events: title, description, date, location, links and co-hosts.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and reliability.
Your page is public
Profile and event pages are public by design — anyone with the link, NFC tag or QR code can view them, and they may be indexed by search engines. Only add information you’re comfortable sharing publicly. Your sign-in email is never shown on your page unless you add it to your contact card yourself.
How we use it
- To sign you in and let you edit your pages.
- To display the pages you publish, and to show your profile as a host on events you co-host.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.
Who processes it
We rely on a few infrastructure providers to run linkbook:
- Google — sign-in
- Vercel — website hosting
- Neon — database
- Cloudflare — DNS and email forwarding
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can edit or remove anything on your page at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@linkbook.xyz from the address you sign in with and we’ll remove it within 30 days. You can also revoke linkbook’s access from your Google Account’s security settings.
Children
linkbook isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let signed-in users know.
